Interior

Deep vacuuming, carpets and upholstery shampooed and extracted, leather cleaned and conditioned, and protection applied afterward. After a Wisconsin winter, most of what is in a carpet is salt and grit tracked in over four months, and it needs extracting rather than surface cleaning.

Exterior

Hand wash, clay bar to lift the bonded contamination a wash leaves behind, machine polishing, then wax or sealant. The clay stage is the one people skip and the one that makes the polishing actually work.

Paint correction

Swirls and light scratches are shallow defects in the clear that scatter light instead of reflecting it. Correction machine polishes a measured amount of clear away until the surface is flat again.

Clear coat is finite. We check thickness first and stop well short of where a panel would need refinishing. On a vehicle that has lived in automated car washes, the improvement is bigger than most owners expect from something that adds no new material.

Ceramic coating

Bonds to corrected paint, makes washing easier, and resists chemical etching. It is not armor and it will not stop a stone. What it does earn out here is shedding winter road treatment, which otherwise sits on a finish for months.

It goes on after correction. Sealing defects underneath locks them in for the coating's whole life.

Headlight restoration

Cloudy lenses cut genuine light output on unlit county roads at night. We sand and refinish rather than wiping on a restorer that hazes again by spring.
